X Drive assembly |
Find these parts. For the first steps we need the two parts on top and the on bottom of the picture |
Assemble the parts exactly as shown. |
Loosely mount the parts using four M4x12 bolts, washers and square nuts. |
Find two yellow plastic bushings. Insert them by hand in the direction as shown. Important: In the case they won't fit or go only half in, carefully pull them out and elargen the hole slightly with a file. Do not try to force the bushings in! This will very likely destroy them. |
Find a smooth rod and insert it into the bushings. Now tighten the bolts on the parts holding the bushings and test if the smooth rod goes through smoothly. You may need to re-align both several time to find the perfect alignment. |
Set aside for later. |

The distance bolt is placed in the middle of the 3 holes on each side. Mount them with 2 M4x12 bolts (no washers). Tighten it well. |
Assemble the two bushing holders (the two on top from the first picture) in the direction as shown using two M4x12 bolts, washers and square nuts per side. |
Finally, insert the plastic bushings into the fitting. We recommend to push them in from the inside, as shown on the picture. Also be careful here not to use too much force, and do not use pliers. |
