Z endstop assembly

  Find this printed part.

  It may be in black or white colour.

  Find the M8x60 bolt.

  Slide it all the way through

  the big hole on the printed part.

  Enlarge the hole if necessary.

 Tighten the bolt to the printed 

 part using a M8 nut.

  Find the Z endstop.

  Mount it as shown using

  two M2,5x16 bolts & nuts each.

  Add another M8 nut to the M8x60

  bolt and screw it in to approx the

  middle of the screw.

  Insert the assembly near the

  Z stepper motor and hand

  tighten it with another M8 nut.

Set the Z Home position

1. Drive the Z leadscrew up manually until the heatbed hits the extruder nozzle.
2. Set the Z endstop assembly height using the two M8 nuts which mounts it to the frame.
   Make sure the endstop just clicks at the current position then tighten the nuts.
3. Drive the Z leadscrew down and up manually and make sure the Z endstop clicks just (about 0.1-0.2mm) before the bed hits the nozzle.

  If you haven't set the height

  perfectly now, you can re-calibrate it later.

  Make sure the Z endstop engages

  before the bed drives further into the nozzle!
